Workshop with the Mittelstand-Digital Zentrum Spreeland: AI & Data Sovereignty - two sides of a solution

Efficiency and control in balance: Understanding AI and data sovereignty and discovering opportunities

Efficiency and control in balance: Understanding AI and data sovereignty and discovering opportunities
Yin does not work without Yang, just as Artificial Intelligence (AI) does not work without data sovereignty. The focus of this workshop is on robust practice: AI-supported tools and applications that streamline workflows in SMEs show where automation makes sense and which steps are actually feasible with some practice.

This is complemented by the framework that enables responsible action. This includes clear responsibilities, information security, suitable infrastructure, and a conscious handling of data, from classification to the choice of cloud solutions and open source. Both sides must always be considered, even if one temporarily weighs more. Only in this way does a holistic picture and a sustainable balance emerge. Data quality, encryption, and access rights determine what AI is allowed to achieve. Requirements from AI make visible where data storage and processes need to be sharpened.

In cooperation with the Mittelstand-Digital Zentrum Spreeland we focus in the online course on concrete processes, resources, and data flows. The center of attention is where automation creates real benefits and what quality requirements data and models must meet to ensure that the interaction between humans and machines fits.
