The Initiative MinGenTec (Mining & Generation Technology - Made in Germany) comprises companies and scientific institutions in the competence field of mining and energy industry in Berlin, Brandenburg and Saxony. As an extensive industry network of companies operating along the entire value chain and renowned research institutes, MinGenTec stands for the combined expertise of the Lusatian energy industry and research landscape.
MinGenTec safeguards the region’s knowledge, traditionally characterised by mining, through marketing at home and abroad. Further, it supports development of competences and promotion of innovation, and offers assistance in the internationalisation of companies.
