Considering the energy transition and the associated structural change, the energy region of Lusatia, like other German coal districts, is facing major transformation processes. The initiative MinGenTec (Mining & Generation Technology – Made in Germany), funded on the basis of a decision by the German Bundestag by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action as part of the federal "STARK"-project "NeLaBra" (realignment of Lusatian coal industry), specifically targets companies and scientific institutions in the competence field of mining and energy industry. As an initiative of the Cottbus Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK Cottbus), the Brandenburg Economic Development Corporation (Wirtschaftsförderung Land Brandenburg GmbH, WFBB), the Dresden Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK Dresden) and the Saxony Trade & Invest Corporation (Wirtschaftsförderung Sachsen GmbH, WFS), we provide you with cross-border support in business sector development.
